We are the longest standing club at BMCC. A place for writers of any type to come in, hone their craft, learns the tricks and trades of the literary and publishing world, and get their writing published for the first time in our yearly magazine.
All you have to do is show up to our club room, F207 in Fitterman Hall, every Wednesday. Or, you don’t even have to attend in person—just chat with us on Discord!

Magazine submissions are open to anyone in BMCC! Alumni and friends of the program are welcome as well.
We accept short stories, poetry, essays, scripts, experimental pieces—anything!
Each magazine season, we share a Google Forms link in our Instagram bio. You can also submit work through our DMs or by emailing us at writersguildbmcc@gmail.com.
